Congrats to Fred

I am glad to find out Hamilton voted for change his name is Fred, http://www.fredformayor.ca/

now to be honest I have my reservations but am glad things at least will hopefully be less corrupt in Hamilton. The main concern is he wants to run Hamilton like a bussiness, I would like to object and say that  its a community.  Unfortunantely Hamilton in the last 20yrs has been more run like a private club, so maybe at least this way more people can put food on the table unlike the past. I think he has some good points, Hamilton has been studied to death, I hope Fred takes some action. Two things I would like to see Fred do, a Go Bus to and from Toronto/ Burlington etc later than 11:30pm on the weekend. Second provide small grants for small events or projects that generate  a buzz/ opportunities for Hamilton. (Example- Hamilton's Outdoor Art Show, even something like $1000 would have probably gotten people comming into hamilton/ help artists have a chance to make a living in Hamilton not Toronto.  And who knows maybe even close down some streets on a sunday like they do in Kennsington Market?)

Please pass on my suggestions to Fred if you know him!!

Thanks
